This page explains, in plain terms, what data I collect about you when you use this site, what I use it for, who I share it with and what you can ask of me at any time.
1. Who I am
Data controller: Eric Sánchez
Business activity: professional digital advertising services (media buying and conversion rate optimization)
Contact email: eric.sanchez.ads@gmail.com
Website: ericads.com
2. What data I collect
a) Data you give me in the contact form
When you fill out the form, you provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Type of business (e-commerce or local business)
- Planned monthly ad spend
- The message you write, including your website address and whatever you tell me about your project
I only ask for what I need to assess your case and give you a useful reply. There are no hidden fields collecting anything else, apart from an anti-spam trap field that must be left empty and stores no information about you.
b) Data collected if you accept cookies
If you consent to the statistics or marketing categories, third-party tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) collect browsing data: pages viewed, time on site, device, approximate country and advertising identifiers. If you don’t accept, none of this happens. Full details are in the cookie policy.
c) Technical server data
The hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs technical data from each visit, such as IP address and browser type, in order to serve the site, detect attacks and keep it secure. This logging is necessary for the site to work.
3. What I use it for and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your inquiry and assessing your project | Form data | Your consent when you submit it, and steps prior to a possible contract that you yourself request |
| Preparing and sending you a proposal, if it’s a good fit | Form data | Pre-contractual steps at your request |
| Measuring how the site is used | Browsing data | Your consent (“statistics” category) |
| Measuring ad performance and remarketing | Advertising identifiers | Your consent (“marketing” category) |
| Site security and abuse prevention | Technical server data | Legitimate interest in keeping the service running and secure |

4. Who else sees your data
I don’t sell, rent or give your data to anyone. The only third parties involved are providers I need to make this work, each bound by a data processing agreement:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Website hosting and form handling | USA · Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Google Ireland Ltd. | Email (Gmail), Analytics and Ads | EU / USA · Data Privacy Framework |
| Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Ad measurement pixel | EU / USA · Data Privacy Framework |
Swipe the table to see all columns.
Google and Meta are only involved if you’ve accepted the relevant cookies. I may also have to disclose data to public authorities or the courts if required by law.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of these providers process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which are the mechanisms recognized as valid under the GDPR.
6. How long I keep it
- Inquiries that don’t lead to a contract: up to 1 year from our last contact, in case we pick the conversation back up. After that, they’re deleted.
- Inquiries that do lead to a contract: for as long as we work together, and afterwards for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
- Form submissions on Netlify: deleted from the platform as soon as I’ve moved them to my inbox and dealt with them.
- Cookie data: as stated by each provider in the cookie policy.
7. Your rights
Your data, your call. At any time, you can ask me for:
- Access: find out what data I hold about you.
- Rectification: correct anything that’s wrong.
- Erasure: have it deleted.
- Objection: have me stop processing it.
- Restriction: have me keep it but not use it.
- Portability: receive it in a reusable format.
- Withdrawal of consent whenever you like, without affecting anything done before.
To exercise them, just email me at eric.sanchez.ads@gmail.com saying what you’d like. I’ll reply within one month at most, free of charge.
If you think I haven’t handled things properly, you can file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority: in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD); in Andorra, the Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA).
8. Security
The entire site runs over HTTPS, and form data is encrypted in transit. I take reasonable measures to protect it, although no system connected to the internet is 100% secure.
9. Minors
This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. It isn’t intended for minors, and I don’t knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If I change anything significant, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change affects you directly and I have your email address, I’ll let you know.
